Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors is a Jewish community group for Jewish individuals, families, and interfaith families (Jewish and non-Jewish family members) who live in central Kane County including Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles & South Elgin.
Our goal is to develop a cohesive Jewish community in our area for religious, charitable and educational purposes.
FVJN offers monthly Shabbat services, holiday events, volunteer opportunities in the community, adult education, and more.
FVJN’s offerings include a new Jewish education program, Fox Valley Jewish School (FVJS). The program has classes for children beginning at age 3 and continuing through a b’nai mitzvah preparation program. FVJS welcomes children with all ranges of Jewish education and backgrounds, from those with no formal religious education or Jewish knowledge or background to those who have previously attended religious education programs. FVJS provides a general Jewish education and does not adhere to any particular branch of Judaism.
FVJN is a tax-exempt organization pursuant to Internal Revenue Code section 501c3. A percent of proceeds from all FVJN events is donated to local charities.
